25diesen Beschluss auf einer steinernen Stele auf-
26zeichne der Sekretär des Rates und aufstelle auf der
27Akropolis; dass für die Aufzeichnung auf die Stele
28der Schatzmeister des Volkes 20 Drachmen gebe

35von den Vorsitzenden leitete die Abstimmung Eualkos aus dem Demos Phaleron;
36Beschluss des Volkes; Diophantos S.d. Phrasikleides aus dem Demos
37Myrrhinous stellte den Antrag: das andere, wie vom Rat (beantragt);
38da aber Euenor S.d. Euepios durch Wohltaten Proxenos
39des Volkes der Athener geworden war und um alles, was
40das Volk der Athener ihm auftrug, sowohl privat als auch
41öffentlich, sich kümmerte, zu Glück und Heil, wolle Beschluss
42fassen das Volk: dass man belobige Euenos S.d. Euepios und
43bekränze mit einem Olivenkranz seiner Ehrliebe wegen und seiner
44Fürsorge; dass ihm und den Nachkommen das Recht sei
45zur Erwerb von Grund und Haus außer Gemeinschafts- und Sakral-
46land; sich seiner annehme der jeweils amtierende
47Rat und die jeweiligen Generäle, wer immer sie sind;

7Euthykrates of Aphidna was putting to the vote. Diophantos son of Phrasikleides

17the People and submit the opinion of the Council
18to the People, that it seems good to the Council,
19since Euenor of Akarnania is zealous
20concerning the Athenian People and does
21what good is in his power, he shall be proxenos
22and benefactor of the Athenian People, both
23himself and his descendants, and it shall be for him
24as for other benefactors; and the secretary of the Council
25shall inscribe this decree on a stone stele
26and stand it on the acropolis;
27and for inscribing the stele
28the treasurer of the People shall give 20 drachmas from
29the People’s fund for expenditure on
30decrees.

44professional care?; and he and his descendants shall have right of ownership of land and

47time and the generals, whoever they may be at any time, shall take care of him;
